COVID-19: Donate generously here1
In the best interest of all the players, we are going to be canceling Haider Cup for the summer of 2020 due to the current environment with COVID-19. Even if the situation begins to improve in the coming weeks or months, there are simply too many variables outside of our control for us to postpone to later in the year. We will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Haider Cup in the summer of 2021 in Canada, and we look forward to seeing everyone there!
Marhum Arif started Haider Cup 20 years ago in Los Angeles with 8 golfers. In the last 10 years, we have been averaging over 60 players per year and have played at some of the most premier venues and courses across North America. Haider Cup has become an annual tradition for many, and for the first time in 20 years, we will sincerely miss this opportunity to tee it up together.
Haider Cup was built on four principles: play golf, enjoy friendly competition, build brotherhood, and give back to those in need. To those of you that were planning to join us for the first time this year, I sincerely hope you will make every effort to join us next year to become part of the Haider Cup tradition.
Even though we are not going to be meeting this year, we can still continue to do our part by giving back to those in need. We are pleased to announce that we are partnering with Comfort Aid International to help them with their Coronavirus Relief Aid Initiative. Our goal for this year is to raise $5,000.00 (USD). We request everyone to donate generously here1 in the name of Marhum Arif.
